Antes de las decoraciones, las carrozas del Desfile de las Rosas realizan un recorrido de prueba en Azusa

Las carrozas realizan un viaje de prueba antes de decorarlas para asegurarse de que todos los elementos mecánicos estén en óptimas condiciones para el día de Año Nuevo.

Las carrozas del Desfile de las Rosas de 2025 pronto estarán adornadas con llamativas decoraciones florales para la espectacular tradición del Día de Año Nuevo en Colorado Boulevard en Pasadena.

Pero este sábado en Azusa, lo importante fue lo que está detrás de las carrozas.

Algunas de las carrozas del desfile se llevaron a una prueba, una oportunidad para probarlas y evaluar el aspecto mecánico y las estructuras de apoyo antes de decorarlas para el 136º Desfile de las Rosas. La prueba de manejo de las carrozas incluye la verificación de componentes como frenos, acelerador, dirección e integridad estructural antes de que los decoradores las cubran con elementos florales.

"Hoy vamos a hacer una prueba de cinco de nuestras carrozas", dijo el portavoz de Artistic Entertainment Services, Stefan Pollack. "Vamos a inspeccionar la parte inferior y la mecánica de las carrozas. Vamos a echar un vistazo a todos los elementos mecánicos… antes de que las cubran y las adornen con hermosas flores".

Entre las carrozas que participaron en la prueba del sábado se encontraban las que representaban a la AIDS Healthcare Foundation, Pasadena Humane/Hill's Pet Nutrition, Go Bowling, el ejército de los EE. UU. y Honda.

El desfile de 2025 será "El mejor día de todos".
